I have a usb 2.0 cardbus pc card and windows xp pro sp-2 on for my computer but the driver disk dont

I have tried everything and still have an exclamation point by the driver on usb 2.0 root hub device. I also have exclamation point by the via 5 or later usb universal host controller. I have tried every usb 2.0 driver i can find. Any ideas? I have a generic usb 2.0 cardbus pcmcia pc card and I also wonder if you can use it in the pc card slot on a Hp Palvillion zt3380us Centrino Laptop?

Have you gone to the manufacturer's web site? They normally keep the latest drivers on line for downloading. I have an HP printer and I check and update it's driver automatically through the previous driver. Just have a look and see. It could fix everything.

Also have you considered that the hardware may be bad?
