Windows XP stuck in safe mode??

right i just done a clean install of windows XP pro and every time i boot up it's stuck in safe mode..i tried selecting start windows normally and others but no luck..still in safe mode..the resolution is really low and it is in 4 bit colour too. i looked in device manager and i saw the "multimedia audio controller and video controller Vga compatiable" had a yellow exclamation thing next to them. any one know my problem here? how do i get out of safe mode and start windows normally? thanks for the help

Did you install the driver for your video card after you reinstalled Windows? If not, your video will run in VGA [16 colors %26amp; 480 x 640].

If Windows can't find the proper video driver then it runs in VGA mode which looks like safe mode.

Do you have a driver disk from the manufacturer of the computer or video card. If so, install the video driver.

If you know the manufacturer and model of the card in your system go their web site and download the driver and install it.

Are you sure your in safe mode. Sounds like you do not have your video card driver installed/configured properly. That's what the yellow question marks mean anyway. After you install them than you will be able to change the resolution and color bit rate.
Sounds like your graphicscard is broken down.

Try inserting another card for testing.
The yellow exclamation is a warning that something is not working properly with that audio visual.

Try turning off your computer completely, ..with the button .. not with the computer..do it manually.

Then before windows safe mode can come up, press f8 and hold it down .. you will hear a lot of clicking, that's not a problem, it's just bypassing windows again...but when it's forced to do that, it should give you more options to turn on windows without safe mode.. even if you have an audio visual conflict/problem, it still should start out of safe mode.
