I want to install Vista Ultimate on my mac but it says that: o This computer is not compliant with the Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) standard. Windows must be installed onto a computer that supports ACPI. Contact your computer manufacturer for a BIOS update or install Windows on an ACPI-compliant computer.
What does this mean?
I have parallels and windows xp pro already installed...so now what?
Windows Vista on a Mackbook Pro....help!?microsoft office 2007

I don't really know why you're trying to do this, Mac is much better than Windows, apart from that, Windows Vista is really incompatible has been detected with lots of problems, I would really recommend that you stay with XP, and this is only a recommendation I really don't know the answer to your problem, sorry
Run vista w/ bootcamp. and just backup your XP files in parallels. Or just back up your files in parallels, then scrap XP and do a clean install of vista in parallels. Make sure your parallels supports vista.
I suggest bootcamp though, especially if you have leopard.
