Is there any different for running ASP in Windows XP IIS and Server2003 IIS ??? Please note that I just focus on comparison the server performance on these 2 systems and nothing compare about the .net performance.
So the most concerned question is that can I pay $1000 less to use Windows XP Pro. to host a ASP website which may have 100 people browse at the same time, can Windows XP supports ???

Yes you can host your ASP website on WIndows XP Pro hosting provided Server configuration must be Dual Core or above with minimum RAM 2GB. But if you are hosting ASP.Net website then go for Server 2003 for better .net Frameworks performance.
