OK i have windows Xp home but when i tried upgrading to windows Xp Pro it said can not find some file i don't remember but it didn't find a file so it said 'skip, cancel , retry" so I pressed skip and it skipped and then restarted when it restarted it came up with this boot screen saying "please select operating system" windows xp Home, Windows Xp Pro set up" so it went on Xp Pro setup by its self because it had a 5 sec timer so it tried to load something but it came up as an error saying cannot find file so it restarted and the same screen came up but now I went up to Xp home and pressed enter and Xp home booted noting was wrong everything worked so now I restart now I get the same boot screen and I went to xp home and it booted so now I want to get the boot screen out so I went in to the hard drive/Local Disk and found some files that the xp pro left it was only 6mB so I deleted it so then I restarted and the same screen came up now is their anyway I can get that screen off please help me I rally wont that screen out of my computer please

A TXT-file should open.. Under [operating systems] you will find 2 lines (according to your issue).. the 1st OR 2nd one is about "Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition".. while the other is "Microsoft Windows XP Professional"..
delete the one with Professional details..
