Don't burn a copy
its illegal
If you have Nero software click CopyCD and sit back and watch it do its thing.
If your computer has a CD writer and the software is loaded, copying would merely consisst in following the instructions you read off the screen when you run the program. Essentially it would ask you to insert the disk you want to copy then it will read the disc. Afterwards it will ask you to insert a blank disc then it will write on to the blank disc. That is all.
Look after it and buy a new case so it does not get srcatched.you'll never be able to burn an exact copy
get sonci my dvd software from the net its great when you install it run it then put in the win xp cd then hit burn it will copy it then ask you to remove the win xp cd and put in a blank cd(r) disk when you done that it will burn the files %26amp; folders on the new blank cd(r) then your have a new win xp cd
the software you download is
sonic my dvd

You asking for something Microsoft does not allow you to do so all I can tell you in theory you could download a copy programe like "CD copy" or "CD rip" for a trial of 30 day's then put you copy of Xp into one drive an CDR in the other click the copy button select a medium speed and hey presto you got a Backup copy.If you only have 1 cd rom copy the disck to the harddrive and then burn the copy.nb. Nero don't like doing it (in bed with microsoft and others )
Take care!
The EULA (End Users Licence Agreement) specifically gives you the right to make a backup copy. Simply burn it as you would any other CD. By the way if you decide to use it on another computer ( or 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever) go to Brian Carr's website and use one of his academic volume keys. These keys bypass activation.
I do not understand why it would be getting all scratched. If you keep it in a good container it should last many years. It can be copied and there is no real problem doing that. Not for sale though. Nero will do it. It is a good idea to divide your hard drive into two separate drives and put a backup on the D or second drive. This way if you have a problem with the OS you can tell it to repair and use the copy to do it. No it is not illegal to copy the disc for your own use. Mine is copied and I put them in different places for protection because others have access to this machine.
use nero burner. this fuction copy cd..
