Making a bootable Windows XP CD?

I purchased and unlimited license Windows XP Pro CD, but it comes with the OLD "atapi" file which only reads harddrives up to 137GB. The newer Windows XP with SP2 have the updated "atapi" file in them. I tried copying all the files from the old CD, then replacing the old "atapi" file with the new one, but when I tried to insert into the computer to boot and install XP, the CD doesnt boot. Any help with this would be awesome. Or is there a way to install the old XP and change something in the system to read the entire hdd (200GB or larger)? Thank you!
