What are the fundamental differences between XP Pro and Windows Media Operating systems?

What can Media OS do that XP Pro cannot and vice versa?

What are the fundamental differences between XP Pro and Windows Media Operating systems?microsoft visual studio

Media Center is based on XP Pro, but many of the more advanced features are missing. Call it a stronger Home Edition with more crap you don't need (for a laptop, at least). The biggest adavantage for home users is that Media Center supports 2 processors/dual core, which Home Edition does not. Pro by itself supports 2 processors. Laptops as of now, don't.
