you need to get a genuine copy now to get rid of that. Just grab a serial number off of any computer at work/school and use that the next time u install XP. should work fine.
hit on start %26gt;run type in

msconfig

hit on ok

hit on startup tab look for it there un-check da box then hit on services tab look for it there un-check da box. hit on

apply %26amp; ok

restart ur pc . but just .b/c you dont see da ADVANTAGE validation

soone if you dont activate it ur not get to login to da pc
It will happend when you updated os automatically..

there is a opt out thing for that at Microsoft your better off buying a license though try esoftwaredirect dot com they have the best prices $118.99 for XP-Pro but you only get the disc with the key but that's all you need anyway right
Validate your copy of windows and it'll go away. Otherwise navigate to msconfig, and uncheck it and also disable the service.
